How to create polls in Telegram groups and channels | Social networks

Telegram has a voting tool that allows you to make polls in groups, channels and individual conversations in a simple way. Absent on WhatsApp, the feature operates through the @Vote bot, which allows the creation of a main question and answer options directly via chat. The virtual robot counts only unique votes cast by people with Telegram accounts, and shows the results in real time.

The function can be used in groups of friends when deciding the location of the next meeting or trip. In addition, the poll bot lets you know the opinion of members of a channel on the platform.

Telegram restricts access to messages by bots that work within groups and conversations. By default, robots can only read messages and responses directed at them, in addition to instructions with the / command. The rule does not apply to bots that are group and channel administrators, at the user's discretion. In addition, bots can read all channel publications in which they are members.

In the case of @Vote, only responses to poll questions are recorded. Other chat messages are protected and cannot be intercepted by him in a group.

Next, see how to use the tool to create polls on Telegram.

Step 1. Access the @Vote bot on Telegram (t.me/vote) and touch Get started to activate the rob. The first step is to write the central question in the poll. Send normally to record.
