Dell announces Adamo, its alleged “MacBook Air-killer”

Since January, when photos and details about Adamo were leaked, Dell did not talk about its new machine that intends to hit head on with Apple's MacBook Air. The notebook was finally made official by the company today, which characterizes it as ?the thinnest laptop in the world?, only 16.39mm thick. It weighs about 1.8 kg.

Like Air, Adamo will not come with an optical drive but will have an optional external accessory, both for DVDs and for Blu-rays.
