Resuming rumors about a possible "IPhone 6c", KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said today that Apple still plans to launch a new device with 4 inch screen in early 2016.
This smaller "iPhone 6s" would generally be the same as the larger models, with A9 chip and everything. The second major differentiating factor, in addition to the smaller screen, would be the absence of 3D Touch and Taptic Engine. For the end of next year, Kuo is betting on a iPhone 7 Plus with A10 chip (d) and 3GB of RAM as another differential in addition to the optical stabilization of the camera that exists today in relation to the 4.7 inch model.
I confess that two years ago I would have dreamed of a state-of-the-art iPhone keeping a 4-inch screen, but today I am quite used to the 4.7 inches. On the other hand, I am concerned about the 5.5 inch model receiving even more differentials; I don't see myself wearing a device this big
