Xiaomi will launch its new family of smartphones from the Redmi Note 9 line, which due to the isolation of COVID-19 will be made online from 13:00. But some details of the Redmi Note 9S are already known, with a special and limited edition (MFF) of the smartphone that serves to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Chinese brand. This model will have 2,020 units distributed worldwide.
The smartphone has four rear cameras, led by a 48 MP sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide angle, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth. Also have a 16 MP front camera, in punch hole format.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, with Full HD + resolution, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It does not have a biometric fingerprint reader on the display, but on the side of the equipment. Inside is a Snapdragon 720G processor, being released in two versions, one with 4/64 RAM and internal storage and the other with 6/128 GB, expandable through microSD cards.
The Chinese manufacturer also highlights its 5,020 mAh battery, with support for fast charging at 18 W. It also has a headphones sound input via 3.5 mm jack and a USB-C connection.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro was revealed, a two-tone model, with a symmetrical design in two colors, with a glossy tone on top and a texture on the bottom. Comes in three colors, Tropical Green, Glacier White and Interstellar Gray. It has a 6.67 inch screen, with a small punch hole for the camera, with the TUV display certification, which guarantees to be more "friendly" to the eyes. The smartphone is protected, both front and back, with Gorilla Glass 5. The power button, placed on the side of the equipment, also has the fingerprint sensor.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro has a set of four cameras, a main lens of 64 MP, an ultra wide angle of 8 MP with 119, a macro of 5 MP and a depth sensor of 2 MP. The smartphone allows you to record images in RAW, for a more professional touch. In video recording, the system has the ability to smoothly zoom, as well as exposure control and manual focus. Users can also record video at 4K resolution. The camera also has six kaleidoscope effects options, for the most creative users to record images in different patterns. The front camera has a 16 MP sensor, capable of recording videos in slow motion.
The smartphone also features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 720G processor, up to 128 GB of storage. Bet on the 5.020 mAh battery, with a 30 W charger, which the brand claims to charge 50% of the equipment in less than 30 minutes. It also contains the Fast 33 W charger to accompany the smartphone in the box. The Chinese manufacturer also bet on an internal engine for haptic sensations in the handling of the equipment, with more than 120 different effects. It also supports NFC communications.
As for prices, the Xiaomi Note 9 Pro of 6 GB of RAM with 64 GB of storage reaches the market for 269 dollars, while the 6/128 GB version will be 299 dollars.
Completing the family, in addition to the Redmi Note 9S and Pro, the standard version has a 6.53 inch FHD + screen and comes in Forest Green, Polar White and Midnight Gray. It has characteristics very similar to the other models, namely the set of four cameras, including a 13 MP front. The processor is the new Helio G85, a chip designed with gamers in mind. The battery is also 2,020 mAh, with a fast charge of 18 W, including the 22.5 W charger in the box.
Regarding the Redmi Note 9 prices, the 3/64 GB variation is priced at 199 dollars, while the 4/128 GB version hits the market for 249 dollars. Both models hit the market in mid-May.
