Instagram announced on Tuesday (8) a new feature that allows you to buy concert and cinema tickets, in addition to booking hotel rooms and tables in restaurants directly through the app. The novelty, which appeared in test mode last week, now reaches everyone in Brazil.

Ticket reservations and purchases will be made with the release of new types of steel buttons on the platform. It will be possible to start the purchase process on an external website without leaving the application, ending with the credit card registered in the profile. Lnstagram announced a partnership with more than 25 brands to start the novelty. In Brazil, the table reservation service Restorando is the first to have the function.
According to Instagram, the procedure for offering transactions directly through the app is simple and available to any commercial user of the app. Therefore, the trend is that the establishment number will increase rapidly in the application. Instagram will do away with the Pending Requests box on Direct. Messages coming from profiles that do not yet follow the business account will now arrive on the main screen. According to the social network, the measure aims to increase the speed of response in the app to avoid that the user is poorly served and, therefore, obliged to use other communication tools, such as email or phone. In addition, in the coming weeks, Instagram will start testing a new feature of quick responses to streamline communication. The app will have a list of text suggestions ready to use in messages to customers. It will be possible, for example, to send the store address, contact details and prices with two taps.
