Three things Apple killed today: iPhone 4s, Aperture and iPhoto

Until yesterday, the iPhone 4s it was still marketed by Apple. Today, however, the company decided to remove it from all its stores.

Launched in 2011, the device was still marketed in a few markets such as Brazil, China and India. Now, however, Apple has aligned its strategy in all countries, leaving only the iPhones 6/6 Plus, 5s and 5c for sale. Obviously, some Apple partners (like the big retailers) still have stocks of the iPhone 4s and will sell it until it's all over.

With the arrival of OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 (which brings the new Photos app), the iPhoto it's the Aperture have now been removed from the Mac App Store.

This was already expected, after all, Ma made it very clear that the new photo app has arrived to replace both. IPhoto users will most likely be satisfied with the switch; Aperture users should miss a lot of resources and, who knows, look for another alternative to store / edit their images.
