Step 1. Select the text you want to style and access the Format tab in the top menu. Then choose Text Fill and then click on the Image … option.

Step 3. Click on the image of your choice and then confirm the action on the Insert button.

2. Insert YouTube videos

You can include any YouTube video in your slides. It is worth mentioning that, in order to reproduce them during the presentations, Internet access is required.

Step 1. Access the Insert tab, from the main menu at the top of the screen. Then choose the Video option and then go to Video Online ….

Step 2. Search for videos or paste the URL address of a specific YouTube video into the search field. To perform searches on YouTube without leaving PowerPoint, just click on the magnifying glass icon in the right corner of the search bar.

Step 3. Select the desired video from the results and place it in the presentation by clicking the Insert button in the lower right corner of the window. You can move and resize the video as you like within the slide.

3. Remove the background from a photo

The following function allows you to remove the background landscape from photos and highlight only the object that is in the foreground.

Step 1. After adding an image to the slide, enter the Format section and choose, immediately afterwards, the Remove Background option in the upper left corner.

Step 2. Click the Mark areas to remove button and draw strokes on the photo with the cursor to select the areas that will be excluded. The entire area in purple will be removed.

Step 3. Then, click the Mark areas to keep button and repeat the process, this time choosing what will be visible in the photo. At the end, select Keep changes to end edits.

4. Change the image format

You can leave the photos in any format: circle, star, arrow, balloons, among others.

Step 1. Add an image to the slide and then go to the Format tab. Then click on the arrow below the Cut button and then on Cut to Demarcate Shape ". To select the desired shape, just click on the cone.

5. Insert photos straight from the cloud

You can also insert any photo from your OneDrive right into the slides.

Step 1. On the Insert tab, choose the Online Images option. In the window that opens, select Browse, next to OneDrive. It is worth mentioning that I need to log in with a Microsoft account to open OneDrive.

Step 2. Open the desired folder and select the photo to be included on the slide. Confirm by clicking Insert, in the lower right corner of the window.

6. Insert clickable buttons to control the slides

You can add buttons to control your slides during presentations. It is possible to insert icons with links to the first or last slide, to advance or rewind the presentation, or to open a website or other computer file.

Step 1. On the Insert tab, in the main menu, choose the Shapes option. Select a cone from the Steel buttons section and insert it on the slide.

Passo 2. Escolha qual ao aquele boto realizar ao ser clicado durante a apresentao. Confirme a configurao em OK.

Passo 3. Voc pode editar o estilo e as cores do boto no menu de formatao.

7. Utilizar camadas, como no Photoshop

O Painel de Seleo do PowerPoint mostra os objetos separados individualmente, em um formato semelhante s camadas do Photoshop. Desta forma, voc pode organizar sua tela de trabalho e editar os objetos separadamente.

Passo 1. No menu principal, acesse Selecionar, no canto direito da tela ao lado do cone de seta. Em seguida, v at Painel de Seleo…. Todos os objetos aparecero listados direita da janela.

Passo 2. Selecione o cone de olho ao lado de cada objeto para escond-lo ou mostr-lo na tela. Assim voc deixa a rea de trabalho mais limpa e organizada enquanto edita os outros itens da apresentao.

Passo 3. Clique nas setas para posicionar o item em um nvel acima ou abaixo dos outros. Isso mover o objeto para frente ou para atrs dos outros cones presentes no slide.

8. Salvar a apresentao em PDF

Caso voc no queira salvar seu documento como apresentao de slides, voc pode salv-lo em formato PDF.

Passo 1. Em "Arquivo", no canto superior esquerdo, escolha a opo "Exportar" no menu lateral esquerda. Em seguida, abra a opo "Criar documento PDF/XPS" e clique no boto "Criar PDF/XPS" para salvar o arquivo no formato PDF.
