What has been done to help schools in distance learning?

In a first phase, the objective of DGE was for all schools to maintain daily contact with students and, gradually, to introduce more complex processes and tools for interaction. It should be noted that students who "still do not have access to the Internet or equipment" have not been forgotten, with DGE betting on "contact established through local organizations and associations or the Parish Council", which can ensure that these students also receive materials and tasks to do.

The focus has also been on helping teachers themselves to teach more efficiently through distance learning. Since the end of March with a team to help schools in this regard, the Ministry of Education launched the support brigade "We are on with schools" to support teachers and principals, made up of more than 100 professionals. The Government agency also developed an instrument to support the directors of public and private schools, after the associations of teachers and scientific societies are making available, in partnership with the DGE, educational resources and distance training.
