What is emergency aid?
Emergency aid is an estimated benefit of R $ 600 that will be delivered for three months to people who are experiencing financial difficulties due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The "coronavoucher" seeks to alleviate the effects of pandemic quarantine for informal workers without a formal contract and fixed income.

Up to two members of the same family can receive the benefit. In the case of women who are heads of single-parent families (that is, in which they are the only source of income), they may receive the benefit twice, with R $ 1,200 per month for three months.
Who is entitled to emergency aid?
The program is aimed at informal workers, individual microentrepreneurs (MEI), individual contributors to Social Security and the unemployed. The requirements for receiving aid are as follows:
- Be over 18;
- Not having a formal job;
- Do not receive social security or assistance benefits, unemployment insurance or participate in a federal income transfer program (except for Bolsa Família);
- Have monthly family income per person of up to half a minimum wage or, in total, up to three minimum wages;
- Not having received taxable income above R $ 28,559.70 in 2018.

Who must register through the application to receive the benefit?
Informal people who do not have a registration in the Single Registry, MEI and INSS individual taxpayers need to register through the application to receive emergency assistance. The estimate is that 15 to 20 million people are entitled to the benefit, but are registered on no platform, so they require registration via the application.

How to receive emergency aid?
The money will be transferred in stages, and the first batch of payments is scheduled for this week for those who have a unique registry, account holder at Caixa or Banco do Brasil and fulfill the requirements of the benefit.
The forecast is that whoever registered with the application from today will receive the benefit about 48 hours after registration. Beneficiaries of Bolsa Famlia should receive it from the 16th, according to the regular payment schedule.
The emergency aid will be available directly in the bank account and can be withdrawn in lotteries or branches of Caixa, Banco do Brasil, Banco da Amaznia and Banco do Nordeste. The first installment is expected to be available next Tuesday (14th) for withdrawal, the second for April 27-30, and the third between May 26-29.
The money will be deposited in digital savings accounts for those who do not have their own bank account. This digital account will be opened free of charge under the name of the beneficiary, and it will be possible to transfer the amount to another bank without additional costs.
