As you already knew, we were in Silicon Valley last week with the group that accompanied us to the MM Tour V the fifth edition of our trip to the technological cradle of the United States.
Those who follow us on Instagram can follow ?closely? a good part of the attractions of the trip, day by day, but I will take a look at the entire MM Tour V program in this illustrated post with the photos we published there. Although for me and Edu the script itself does not change so much between each edition of the MM Tour (although, in this one, we included two new companies), each trip unique / unforgettable and we had another sensational group!
The MM Tour V was supported by Quaddro Training, longtime partner of .
The focus of Quaddro Treinamentos is the most modern mobile technologies and platforms, mainly covering: creation of applications for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, interface design, creation of web service, content development in HTML5 and digital publishing in iBooks Author. The main work fronts are a training center that provides the most complete training on the market for those who wish to master new technologies and an application producer that develops its own demands and also meets customer requests in the areas of web, applications for tablets and smartphones and digital publishing.

We arrived in San Francisco at the end of Saturday morning, October 8, and from there we went to eat something and settle in the hotel. The first day's schedule included visits to the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, the Moscone Center and the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, where Apple usually holds its events, and then an Apple Union Square trip to the first of many stores in Ma!
Sunday (9/10) started very early, with the departure of the Alcatraz island group. From there, we all rented bicycles and took a 3-4 hour ride (over the Golden Gate bridge) to Sausalito where we ate a beautiful and delicious hamburger. At night, we had a mandatory stop at a Best Buy store.
October 10 (Monday) was a public holiday. Columbus Day in the USA, but we had a busy day: garages from Apple and HP, spent at the house where Steve Jobs lived, going to Apple Palo Alto, special visit Evernote, photos on Facebook, snack at Fraiche Yogurt and end of day at Stanford Shopping Center.
On Tuesday (11/10) we went to Cupertino to visit Apple's headquarters in 1 Infinite Loop and do exclusive shopping at the store there. afternoon, we had a special tour of the Intel Museum and closed the day at Frys Electronics in Sunnyvale with a great dinner at Umami Burger.
The group had Wednesday (12/10) free for shopping / tourism, but before that we went, early in the morning, to get in line to buy iPhones at Apple Union Square and then visit Zendesk in San Francisco. at Hooters in San Bruno, we raffled an Apple Watch Series 2 sponsored by Quaddro Training!
Thursday, October 13, was a day of news even for us: special visits IFTTT, in the morning, and Pinterest in the afternoon. In the middle of the day, we were still taking pictures in front of Pixar's Emeryville headquarters.
Friday (10/14) started with a long and wonderful visit to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, followed by a trip to Google. We closed the day at the Westfield Valley Fair mall and the farewell dinner was at Maggianos Little Italy on Santana Row (in San Jose).
We woke up early on Saturday (10/15) to close bags, pack Check-out from the hotel and start returning to Brazil already very homesick.

Some of the participants of MM Tour V sent us some very nice words about the trip:
First of all, I want to say that the experience of being part of an MM Tour was incredible! More than incredible, in fact! As soon as I got home and received a ton of questions from friends and colleagues about the trip, which I published ?extensively? on social media (haha!). Starting with the structure and program, which was thought out in the smallest details, from the hotel, the car, the tours, the companies, to the punctuality in the schedules (which was sometimes a hereditary task of Edu and Rafa), understanding from everyone with the softness here who could barely climb a hill on a bike (especially Edu: thanks, Edu!) and the infinite patience to go from store to Apple store and face lines and freezing cold until everyone could everything I wanted (and this time I gave a lot of work, for reasons of: jet black!). I also couldn't help but remember the fantastic company that these 12 people were in those 10 days of travel. You guys are awesome! Several Brazilian states, different ages and personalities and one passion: technology. There was no way to go wrong! Finally, we talked a lot in the last few days and one thing is indisputable: the professionalism, attention and organization of Rafael and Eduardo, and the staff of . Anyway, I dare say it was one of the best trips I have ever taken in life, if not the best! I want it again!
The MM Tour for me was a fantastic and unforgettable experience, I had the opportunity to get to know the main places that were and are part of the history of technology, companies like Zendesk and Evernote, and beautiful tourist places, I made good contacts for my company both in visit we made Apple in Cupertino and Zendesk, and of course the company of this group of 13 fantastic people who will miss you so much and made all the difference in these 8 days to make the trip even more special, great friendships were made and a lot of professionalism and attention by the team who is congratulated as always.
No words to describe the MM Tour V! It was an incredible experience and an immeasurable pleasure to be able to get to know the Silicon Valley accompanied by these two beasts, Rafa and Edu, and from our group where I met people of the best quality. We visit companies that we are fans of as VIP guests, we visit places like Apple's headquarters in Cupertino and Google in Mountain View, and we still enjoy the best of San Francisco by the way, a wonderful city. Each moment was really worth it, it was too much, I'm already missing the games and the laughter. The problem now is going to be wanting to go every year again. Big personal hug and thanks for everything!
Rafael F. de Carvalho Neto.
The MM Tour V was incredible, exceeding my expectations! What made the trip a success, in addition to the excellent guides Eduardo and Rafael, was the group, which had the swing of various places in Brazil, and the best, everyone likes and breathes the world geek, subjects did not lack in these days of adventure in the Silicon Valley, through large companies, startupsIt is, of course, of the natural beauties and tourist spots that have left great memories.
Hi guys from MM Tour V, my dear puppies, for me it was like traveling as a family! We visited interesting places, we ate very well and all of this was guided by a very professional and super-pleasant duo (Rafael and Eduardo). Thanks a lot
The trip was amazing, I could write a gigantic text about it. But I have to point out the Computer Museum where I was able to review my first PC, the 486, and also the two video games that marked my childhood Atari and then the Super Nintendo. It was a mixture of nostalgia and technology. I think that everyone who likes technology should have this opportunity to get to know such a special place, the first iPod that hasn't been in the museum for a long time, not to mention other historical computers like the Apple I among others, it was really very special.

We will still have, of course, the official video of the trip but it will still take a while to be fully edited. Stay tuned to our YouTube channel, which he will soon be painting over there!
And many MM Tours to come!
