In just 6 months, iPad has outperformed a product line that has existed for almost 27 years (~ 322 months). This shows how the market is responding and changing with the arrival of the tablet.
Still, it?s worth noting that the Mac hasn?t stopped growing:
The only significant drop in the graph refers to the worldwide recession period, when all manufacturers were affected. Overall, Apple continues to outperform the industry's average growth, both in units and in revenue.
