Superscreen promises to turn your iPhone (or other smartphone) into a tablet instantly

Apple "updated" this week its line of iPads offering a new 9.7-inch model for the lowest price in its history, but it will see you simply are not in the mood to invest R $ 2,500 in another piece of hardware when you already have one. perfectly capable and powerful in your pocket whether it is an iPhone or any other Android smartphone and you really want a bigger screen for some situations. Boring, huh?

Well, in this case (by the way, this phrase can be applied to many cases, but I digress), the Kickstarter you may have the ideal solution for your problem. I'm talking about Superscreen, a new project launched on the crowdfunding site that promises to turn your iPhone or Android smartphone into a tablet, without major complications.

Roughly speaking, Superscreen is nothing more than an Android tablet with a 10.1-inch Full HD screen, processor quad-core 2GHz, 4GB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera and 2MP front camera, 6,000mAh battery, Bluetooth 4.1, USB-C connection, headphone jack (Oh yeah) and a set of speakers that run only one application. This application, however, is the soul of the pet and its reason for being: it is possible to mirror the screen of your smartphone, increasing it up to 4x and enjoying a much more immersive experience.

It is not necessary to have a Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection; Superscreen itself establishes direct (and proprietary) communication with the target device and, according to the creators, the mirroring application has all the technologies necessary to combat the dreaded delay in responses known as lag. In addition, once the connection is made, the user can normally enjoy the tablet's features, such as cameras and speakers, as if they were native to the iPhone / Android. The creators still promise support for Apple Pencil, but for that promise I wouldn't really put my hand on fire.

Superscreen has already exceeded its target of US $ 50,000 needed to start its production by almost ten times this amount, which is a great demonstration that, yes, many people want a simple solution to increase the screen of their smartphone. And be careful: if the idea appeals to you, I recommend that you immediately go to her page on Kickstarter to get one of the latest offers that we will offer a tablet unit for $ 99 after this promotion, the price to request your copy goes up alarmingly to $ 299, which already comes close to an iPad and, in my view, totally removes its reason for existing.

According to the inventors' planning, Superscreen will start to be sent to its financiers in December of this year. Will it be a fairy tale or are we seeing the creation of a new segment?
