At least something good we have to admit about Facebook: your app Paper it was a very bold attempt and, in several points, right to redefine the experience of visualizing the feed of the social supernet. However, as everything good ends up fast especially in the technological world, Uncle Mark's company announced today that it will shut down the service on the day July 29.
According to Facebook, several elements and ideas introduced in Paper were ?promoted? to the company's main application; the most notable of them was the Instant Articles (instant articles), which have already taken over the mobile version of the network.
Despite the accolades aimed especially at its refined design, punctual animations and improved browsing speed, Paper was not even among the 1,500 most downloaded apps on the App Store, so maybe it never even won an iPad version (or for Android) , nor has it even been made available outside the United States. O Creative Labs, Facebook's initiative to create experimental apps, closed last December.
Paper has already been removed from the App Store; a feather. Has anyone used it (even with the regional restriction) and / or will you miss it?
