Microsoft announced yesterday that it is revamping its Authenticator app for Android and iOS, and the update will bring new functionality and an updated user interface. Although Microsoft has always supported two-factor authentication on various Android services, the iOS application has always been restricted to Microsoft Azure. That will change with the update, and new iOS and Android apps will support two-factor codes from a variety of services.
