Apple today added the latest white MacBook (13-inch, released in mid-2010) to its list of classic / obsolete products (the Portuguese version has not yet been updated).
According to Apple's internal nomenclature, classic products (vintage) are ?those that have not been manufactured for more than five years and less than seven years?, as obsolete products (obsolete) are ?those who have been offline for more than seven years?.
In addition to the white MacBook, made of polycarbonate, three MacBook Pro models also entered the list today: 13 inches from mid-2009, 15 inches (2.53GHz) from mid-2009 and 15 inches from mid-2009. iPhone 3G seems to have entered the global list of obsolete products.
This is the first update that Apple makes to this list in 2017. The last one included some Macs from 2009 and 2011.
