Instagram Stories has a number of features that help increase interaction with friends and make stories more interesting for your followers. For example, it is possible to ask different types of questions using poll stickers, sliding emoji and "ask a question". There is also the possibility to draw people's attention through mentions of Stories accounts.

All the features in the list below are available on the Android and iPhone (iOS) version of the application. They can be found in the Stickers section of Stories with the exception of Live, located in the photo and video capture menu. Recently, Instagram launched the "Ask a question" sticker that allows users to ask questions and answer their followers on Stories.
To invite friends to ask a question, capture a photo or video and open the page with the app stickers. Then just tap the Questions sticker. The user can edit the title and change the colors to make the quiz more inviting. The list of questions received is at the top of the list of views.

There are two ways to respond to friends: by sending a direct message or by sharing the answer through Stories. Despite the sharing, the user who asks has anonymity in the second option. J to ask questions to friends, go to the box your friend left with the question in Stories and tap the Enter something field. It is worth mentioning that there is no limit for questions.
The ability to mention another way to interact with friends on Stories. The user can tag friends on photos and videos in their own stories. There are two ways to mention a friend in Instagram stories: enter the friend's username in the text tool or use the @meno sticker. In the first option, capture a photo or video and tap the A icon, located in the Stories top menu. Finally, type @ and the name of the person you want to dial, without space.

To use the sticker, go to the page with the app stickers in Stories, tap the @meno sticker and type in your friend's name. It is not necessary to type the @. In both options, suggested names will be shown when the person types the initials of the person they want to mention. Finally, just tap on the chosen profile.
The marked person will receive a notification and will be able to share their image or video in their own stories if their account is public.
The hashtag sticker allows you to add hashtags to your Instagram story. Like the mention feature, the hashtag can be used in two ways: type in the text tool or use the sticker #hashtag.
When capturing a photo or video, touch the A icon, which is on the Stories top menu. Then, just type # and add a word to your hashtag. If you use the #hashtag sticker, you don't need to insert the "#" before the tag. The feature shows several hashtag suggestions.

When users touch a hashtag, they are redirected to a page with more relevant and recent posts from people who have used the hashtag, in addition to the amount of related publications and hashtags.
The poll is also on the list of resources used to interact with friends on Stories. The poll sticker allows the user to ask a question and offer only two options as an answer.
To use the tool, just go to the section with the stickers and touch the poll sticker. Then, just type the question in the field, ask a question … you can edit the default answers (yes and no) to make your vote more personalized.
How to Poll Instagram Stories
To answer the poll, just choose one of the alternatives. The user has the option of following the poll in real time.
The slideshow emoji tool in Instagram stories can also increase interaction with followers. The sticker allows the user to ask questions and offer friends, in place of the traditional yes and no poll, a mobile response scale based on a chosen emoji.
To create the emoji poll, go to the Stickers section of Stories and choose the sliding face sticker. Then, type in the question and choose the emoji that best suits your poll. To answer, the user needs to drag the emoticon along a line to the left or right, on an opinion intensity scale.

As an interaction tool, the user can comment and enjoy the transmission in real time. There is also the option for some of your friends to receive an automatic notification from Instagram to notify you of your Live.
To make a Live in Stories, tap live, located in the bottom menu, and then start live video. J to finish, tap "Finish" and confirm.
