In addition to Free app of the week, every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week, whose purchase is for $ 3. The title selected this time was Theft of the Cup, with Tas Arajo.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
The 1983 theft of the Jules Rimet goblet inspired director Caito Ortiz's comedy. To pay a pawnbroker, Peralta (Paulo Tiefenthaler) has the idea of ??refining the gold replica of the cup of the Brazilian team's third championship. But he ends up stealing the royal trophy and becomes the center of attention across the country. The thief's trajectory yields hilarious situations, amplified by the surprising script and exquisite performances by Tiefenthaler and Tas Arajo.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
"The Robbery of the Taa" is a pleasant surprise. I hadn?t seen it yet, Movie of the week, I went to check it out. What caught my attention the most was how the script managed to show the amateurism of the Brazilian Football Confederation, the lack of security and how funny it really was. Perhaps because of the ease with which it occurred, or even because of the sum of factors that led to the cup being stolen. I believe I have already mentioned how much Brazilian cinema has been evolving, but there are still a number of things for it to consolidate, such as: better dissemination, technology, engagement of national and multinational companies in the sector, etc. However, if we can get rid of the dependency on Hollywood films and give it a chance, we can certainly enjoy movies like this.
