Snapchat is developing a new feature that promises to provide a set of tools to help users take care of their mental health. Snap announced that Here For You will be available sooner than expected in response to the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19).
The feature originally announced in February of this year will feature a number of security features with advice from mental health experts about anxiety, stress, depression, suicidal thoughts or bullying.
Snap has indicated to the international press that it is preparing a section of Here For You that is dedicated to anxiety or panic around COVID-19, which is ready in the coming weeks. A, users will be able to find information from entities in the health field such as the North American Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) or the World Health Organization (WHO).
