The Google Play Store now has dark mode on Android phones. The feature, launched on Wednesday (11), leaves the application interface with black tones for greater comfort in dark environments or at night, preventing the brightness of the screen from irritating the eyes. In the app store settings, you can choose between the light, dark theme or switch automatically according to the global system configuration.

Step 1. Open the Google Play app and tap on the menu button, left of the search field. Then tap on "Settings";

Step 2. Now, go to "Theme" and, finally, choose whether you want to use the theme light, dark or defined by the battery saving mode;

Step 3. With night mode activated, the application replaces the white background with dark gray. The text color is also changed to make it easier to read.
