If you have an iPhone but you don?t really like the Apple Watch and prefer the smartwatch offered by Samsung, that's good news.
The South Korean announced today that iPhone users can now use their wearables Gear S2, Gear Fit2 and Gear S3. For that, of course, you will need to download a specific app that is in charge of making the conversation between your phone and the watch possible.
To use S2 and S3, I need to download the Gear S app; Fit2 requires the Gear Fit app both are compatible with the iPhone 5 onwards. After downloading the application in question, you will be guided through the setup and pairing processes.
Not all features and functions are available, this varies by device. At the most basic level, however, watches are able to monitor distance, the route taken, the pace of running, the calories burned and the heart rate.
Although it is not possible to use all the resources, it is still good news for those who like wearables from Samsung but does not open the iPhone.
