Another Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh appears on sale on eBay

Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh

Not the first time that a Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh, better known as TAM, appears on eBay. In May this year we talked about an untouched unit that was for sale on the famous auction site, the machine was sold for $ 10,000.

Now, another beauty like this has appeared on eBay and this time the owner didn't even want to open the box to remove the batteries, or simply to check if everything is as it should be. The level of care was so great that TAM's invoice is framed.

The computer the first designed by Jony Ive was launched to celebrate Apple's 20th anniversary. Only about 12,000 units have been produced and offered for sale in the United States, Japan, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. The idea that the mechanical parts of the computer are hidden, leaving only the monitor as a reference, was born with TAM, however, sold for US $ 7,500, it did not reach success.

If you are willing to pay at least $ 5,601 (minimum bid possible at the moment) you can take home a 250MHz PowerPC 603e with 32MB RAM, 2GB HDD, 12.1 inch LCD display and 2MB ATI 3D Rage II GPU VRAM capable of displaying 16 bits of color at 800600 or 640480 pixels. In addition, TAM has a TV / FM receiver, remote control and a high quality sound system.
