Outlook offers several ways to set up email notifications on your phone. The Microsoft application, which is also compatible with Gmail, Yahoo Mail and other services, has priority alert settings and a Do Not Disturb mode. Both functions allow you to reduce the number of unnecessary warnings, avoiding interruptions at specific times defined by the user.

Step 1. Open the side menu and touch the button with the bell icon at the top to open the options. In the first portion of the screen, it is possible to configure silencing in three ways: manually (until I deactivate), for an hour or until 8 am the next day.

Step 2. Below, the option During events uses calendar appointments accepted via email in Outlook to silence the app during meetings and other important moments. The items During working hours and During weekends bring a set of specific times in which Outlook cannot issue notifications. In all three cases, the app will automatically disable and re-enable alerts.
