With the release of iOS 11 and its new App Store, Apple is no longer offering the Free app of the week. But every Thursday she still chooses one Movie of the week, whose purchase is for $ 3. The title selected this time was The Letters of Mother Teresa, by William Riead.

Here's what Apple says about the movie:
The film directed and written by William Riead is based on correspondences between Mother Teresa and Father Celeste van Exem, over almost half a century, to tell a little about the history of the Nobel Peace winner. Starring the award-winning English actress Juliet Stevenson and by the legendary actor Max von Sydow, who lives the confidante, the emotional drama portrays the conflicts, victories and doubts of one of the great humanitarian figures of modern history.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
With the 12th of October coming, Apple decided to present Mother Teresa's fans with the Movie of the week. The story itself is moving, but the adaptation, even with a good cast, was not well adapted. The film is slow, uneven and skids on driving. The highlight goes to the great actor Max von Sydow, who has a solid career in cinema and stands out for successes like "The Exorcist", "Star Wars", among others. I recommend it for fans of the genre or Mother Teresa.
