Discover the “Single sign-on” feature and check out the (American) apps compatible with iOS and tvOS

At the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2016, Ma announced a great new feature for the fourth generation Apple TV: the feature Single sign-on. In short, the user can only authenticate on one device and no longer needs to go through the entire process of entering a username and password in all apps, whenever logging into one.

The feature is really great, but there are two big ?porns?: the first that the system needs a cable subscription and the second that it is only available in the United States (for now). So, in fact, the credentials that the user needs to enter only once would be those of his TV provider and, then, he can access the apps of the channels that his subscription entitles without having to log in each one.

Having recently been made available to the public last December, not only are all the applications available, but gradually companies are releasing updates to the apps with the new feature.

American providers that already accept the Single sign-on so: Cable ONE, CenturyLink Prism, DIRECTV, Dish, GVTC, GTA, Hawaiian Telcom, Hotwire, MetroCast, Service Electric and Sling TV.
