Apple executives this week received the release of yet another portion of restricted shares. Eight of them were awarded 125,494 of shares granted as bonuses in 2014.
According to SEC documents dated October 1, the following executives received shares valued at $ 19 million, based on the current price of $ AAPL: Angela Ahrendts, Bruce Sewell, Craig Federighi, Dan Riccio, Eddy Cue, Jeff Williams, Luca Maestri and Phil Schiller.
The amount received was based on Apple's total stock return (TSR) compared to other companies in the index Standard & Poor?s 500, from September 28, 2014 to September 30, 2017. Apple's TSR during this period was 65.53%, giving it a rating of 92 out of 451 companies in the S&P 500 index.
In addition, more than 62,000 shares of each executive stayed with Apple in order to satisfy statutory tax requirements.
