1. Make a color gradient in the text

The Instagram Stories color palette can be used to create a gradient effect in texts. The trick requires a certain skill, but a few attempts are enough to master the technique. First, write what you want in the Story and select all the text. Then tap on a color and hold your finger down so that the full palette opens. Place one finger on the color palette and the other on the text selection. Finally, slide both fingers simultaneously in the same direction, so that each letter has a different tone.
2. Paint background at once

If you want to paint the entire background of a Story, know that you don't need to brush over every corner of the photo. To color the post all at once, choose the pen brush, select a color and press your finger on the canvas. The trick also applies to the highlighter brush. The difference is that, in this case, the background will be partially opaque, and not filled with a solid color.
3. Share multiple responses from the question sticker in a single post

Although the Instagram question sticker does not allow you to send answers to several friends at the same time, it is possible to answer them simultaneously with a very simple tip. Just take a print of the set of questions you want to answer, post the captured image in Stories and use the text tool to add the answer.
4. Create shadow effect in texts

Instagram Stories doesn't have a tool for shading text, but it is possible to create this effect with a very easy trick. All you need is to write two identical texts, with the same font and size, changing only the color. Then, just drag the text you want to be on top and place it slightly offset from the other, producing the shadow effect.
5. Expand the duration of photo display

By default, photos posted to Stories are displayed for only five seconds. What few people know is that, with a simple trick, it is possible to extend the duration of the images to up to 15 seconds. The secret is to add music to your story. To do this, simply select the corresponding sticker and choose a track from the Instagram library. In the lower left button, determine the duration of the music, which will also be the time for displaying the photo.
6. Countdown to filming

It is possible to schedule a three-second countdown before starting recordings in Stories. The trick is very simple: just open the camera in "Free hands" mode and press the capture button. With this, you can better prepare yourself for the beginning of the recording and still dispense with the need to hold your cell phone while shooting.
7. Hide hashtags and tags

Often, when tagging friends in a group photo on Instagram Stories, there are so many "@s" to mention that the text block ends up taking up a lot of space in the image. It is possible to solve this inconvenience with a simple tip. First, use the eyedropper to color the text in the same shade as part of the image. Then, make the text smaller with your fingers until it is very small.
With that, your friends are able to share the photo in the Stories themselves, and your publication is visually much more pleasant. The trick also applies to hashtags: similarly, the content is indexed, but is invisible to other users.
8. Share old Stories

The "Create" tool, in the Stories camera, has a function called "This Day", which allows you to share stories published exactly one year ago. However, anyone who wants to revisit or repost older publications can use the "Archive of Stories". The collection is hidden under three lines in the upper right corner of the profile and can be accessed with a few touches. After finding the desired Story, just tap on it to share.
9. Pin text, stickers or GIFs to videos

It is possible to pin stickers, texts and GIFs in the filming of Instagram Stories. The fixed elements follow a certain object throughout the video, a resource that can be interesting to create fun animations or to identify people. It works like this: after choosing an element, drag it to the desired location, pressing and holding your finger on the screen until the video is paused. Then, modify the size and position of the inserted item as desired. Finally, tap Pin.
10. Control exactly who sees your Stories
You can control exactly who views your Stories. The easiest way to do this is by creating a "Best Friends" list. The feature ensures that only selected people will have access to the content and dispenses with the need to create so-called Finstagram or Dix, used private accounts to send embarrassing, funny, sad or completely unfiltered photos to the most intimate.

In addition, you can prevent specific users from watching your Stories. This change needs to be made from the profile settings, in the privacy menu. L, go to the "Story" option and tap "Hide Story From". Then, just select the people you don't want to have access to the content.
