Google One arrives in Brazil this Tuesday (28th) to replace paid Google Drive plans. Announced in the US in May, the novelty of the new face is Google's cloud service storage subscriptions, readjusting prices and amounts of space available to store files across all of the company's products, such as Gmail and Google Photos. The trend is that the novelty will help to simplify the service offer to users.

The launch also brings family sharing for up to five people, space upgrades, expert support and user rewards, such as vouchers for purchasing apps and games. Drive will continue to exist as a file management platform, now without a direct connection to the purchase of shares in the cloud. Nothing changes for those who only have a free account, which continues to offer 15 GB free storage. Corporate account users in G Suite also maintain space settings in Drive.

Despite the official announcement in Brazil, the Brazilian page of Google One still does not reveal the subscription values. For now, Google is limited to saying that current paid users will be upgraded space without having to pay more for it. In some cases, says the company, the monthly fee may even decrease.
Storage options range from 100 GB to 30 TB. The main novelty is the 200 GB quota, which has a price of R $ 9.99 per month. Google also eliminated the 1 TB plan and, in contrast, cut the price of the 2 TB option in half. Current Google Drive subscribers will be migrated to the new One plans automatically.

|Storage||Monthly price||Annual price|
|100 GB||R $ 6.99||R $ 69.99|
|200 GB||R $ 9.99||R $ 99.90|
|2 TB||R $ 34.99||R $ 349.99|
|10 TB||R $ 360.00|
|20 TB||R $ 720.00|
|30 TB||R $ 1,080.00|
Main benefit of Google One, family sharing does not require the activation of a specific plan to use. The feature allows adding up to five relatives on the same plane. Each member has the usual 15 GB and can consume the paid storage of the primary account when exceeding this limit. Users store their files separately, dividing only the amount of gigabytes available in the cloud.
Subscribers also have easy access to a team of online experts to answer questions about any of the company's products. In addition, users of the service can receive gifts: initially, Google will distribute Play Store vouchers to purchase Android apps and games. The company promises to add more benefits over the next few months.
Together with Argentina and Mexico, Brazil is one of the first countries in Latin America to have Google One available to users. Although it was launched in the USA in May, the service was available to all those interested in the North American country only on the 15th of August.
