WhatsApp was in second place among the most installed programs in the month, with about 96 million downloads, an increase of 42.4% in relation to February 2019. Completing the top five are the social networks Facebook, Instagram and Messenger. The Sensor Tower list does not evaluate game download data.
TikTok ranks first on the list of most downloaded apps from both the App Store and the Google Play Store. The already known YouTube, Snapchat, Likee and SHAREit are on the lists once again. The surprise of the result is in charge of the Helo application, which occupied the tenth position in the overall ranking. The Chinese social network allows users to share viral content and daily news with friends and family and has been gaining popularity in India in recent months.
In the individual lists there are some applications less known by Brazilians. This is the case of Ding Talk, China's communication and business collaboration platform that won second place in the App Store. Tencent Conference, from the Chinese company focused on the national market, another novelty that is among the most downloaded in February. Both platforms are business software aimed at video conferences, which may be an indicator of a change in the habits of Chinese employees due to the outbreak of coronaviruses in the country.
