Instagram has several options for formatting text in Stories. With this variety of resources, some end up being "hidden" and, therefore, users do not know. However, there are functions that rely on tricks to function as is the case with rainbow text and the addition of shadows, for example. Here's how to make the texts in Instagram Stories personalized in the list below.

1. Change the font and text size
Instagram Stories has some custom typography. To change, just tap on the source name at the top of the screen. The "Classic" font also allows you to change the font size by dragging the discreet button on the left side of the screen. After editing, you can also use the pin gesture with your fingers to enlarge or reduce the text size.

2. Change the phrase alignment
By default, the text entered is centered on the screen. However, you can align it left or right, as you prefer. To do this, use the button located in the upper left corner of the screen. Another tip, with the end of editing, hold the text and drag. It is possible to move freely on the screen. Use the pin gesture to rotate the text and experiment with different angles.

3. Choose a custom color
Instagram displays some common colors, just above the keyboard. However, you can view the full palette by tapping on any of them and holding your finger down for a few seconds. As soon as it appears, drag your finger to the desired shade and release to apply.

4. Select a color from the photo
To make the text even more personalized, it is possible to use a text color that matches the photo. This is a simple task with the help of the Instagram Stories color selection tool. Touch the button represented by the dropper cone. Then, just drag the dot to the desired color of the image to use in the text.

5. Change the background color of the text
You can add a background color to your texts by tapping on the left button of the font name. The useful feature for improving the legibility of words on backgrounds with varying colors. Immediately after touching the button, define a color in the palette above the keyboard. The previous tips apply here: keep your finger pressed to display the full palette or use the selection tool to choose a color from the photo.

6. Create text stories
Stories allows you to create a narrative in the stories and this can be done by adding multiple images with text. To do this, write the first sentence and save the photo in your gallery. Then add a new sentence and save the image again. For best results, it is recommended to change the previous text. Repeat the process as many times as necessary. Finally, just publish the images in the order of creation to obtain the effect.

7. Use special characters as pictures
Special characters such as asterisk (*), tilde (~), period (.) Or dash (-) can be used as abstract figures. Just type them in a separate text box. If you prefer, the user can change the color and size. Then, tap "Finish", and use the pin gesture to move and rotate the character freely over the photo.

If you wish, go to the Cool Symbol website at coolsymbol.com/cool-fancy-text-generator.html and write the text in l. Then tap "Copy" to the right of the chosen font. Finally, go to Instagram Stories and paste the text.
