One of the most realistic and popular flight simulators among aviation aficionados received a significant update this year, and now the title has arrived in Brazil: the X-Plane 11, created by the American company Laminar Research, is now available for macOS and Windows.
As the company itself defends and all those who enjoy the software: ?X-Plane is not a game, a simulator?; therefore, do not expect to see challenges, rewards or the like. On the other hand, if you are looking for something close to reality, you will not be disappointed, as the simulator has stunningly realistic graphics, both of the aircraft and the landscape around you.
The way in which the simulator deals with flights has already made it used by global commercial aircraft organizations, in addition to today being used as flight hours for pilots in the United States. Just to brag about the software a little more, it was even used by NASA for flight simulations on Mars.
The X-Plane worshiped worldwide because it can serve both enthusiasts and professionals. Most of the helicopter simulators approved by ANAC, for example, use only the software, which best meets the flight fidelity requirements required for this type of training for real pilots.

In addition to general improvements in the simulator, this new version brings better 3D interactions in cockpit, new aircraft models and also an improvement in the interface to make it easier for new users.
As was very much required by the community, something that also reached a new version was the tutorials, which help anyone to become familiar with the basics about flights, navigation and more.
The X-Plane 11 in Portuguese runs on machines with macOS Yosemite 10.10 (or later) or Windows 7 (or later) in English, it is also available for Linux and the box with eight media on DVD can be found by R $ 230 in national retail and in stores specialized in aircraft, game stores, ecommerces and resellers of the Boxware distributor. The pre-sale is being carried out by Saraiva and Bianch Pilot Shop.
The simulator is also available on Steam and you can modify it for Portuguese in the software settings. In addition, if you want to get a taste of what the simulator is, you can download a trial version (also in English) from this link or you can try an earlier and more compact version available for iOS on the App Store for free, with internal purchases.
