Recently, Sumit Sonal, manager of Xiaomi India, revealed that the company delayed the update of Android 10 on the Mi A3 due to the coronavirus, something that caused a certain revolt in the owners of this device, given that the Mi A2, older model, received the new mobile OS from Google in January.
After that statement, Android 10 was expected to arrive only in March, but fortunately the company decided to start distribution in February, even if it was on the last day of the month.
As expected, the new update, which brings the firmware version "220.127.116.11.QFQMIXM" and weighs 1.3GB, started to be gradually released via OTA for random models around the world. However, if no critical error is detected by Xiaomi in this initial phase, a broader release should happen in the next few days or weeks.
Before carrying out the installation, check the amount of battery available to avoid disconnections during the process, we recommend at least 50%. Taking into account that we are talking about a major update, we advise you to perform a backup of your data.
