Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on the production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was ?The Tribes of Palos Verdes?, with Maika Monroe, Cody Fern and Jennifer Garner.

Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Several filmmakers tried to bring Joy Nicholson's book to theaters, but it was the brothers Emmett and Brendan Malloy who ended up adapting the 1997 family drama for the big screen. The duo's experience in surfing documentaries must have contributed, as the protagonist of the story, Medina (Maika Monroe), seeks comfort in the waves to overcome her parents' separation (Jennifer Garner and Justin Kirk). The water scenes are spectacular and intensified by Monroe's performance. But the highlight is the contrast between the melancholy and the landscapes of the Pacific.
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
O Movie of the week raw, direct, with a simple script and an important message. Simply put, we are talking about a buccal film for the most part, which portrays the drama of a family on the edge of chaos. I believe that the more than 100 minutes used in the film was too much, which can bring that desire to speed it up more than once, including; somewhere between 80-90 minutes would be great! I don't recommend it to everyone, but if you are a fan of Jennifer Garner, it's worth it because she is great (as always).
