Even with the Mobile World Congress canceled due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Huawei remained faithful to its technological calendar and revealed at its event in Barcelona its new foldable smartphone, the Mate Xs. Fulfilling what Richard Yu, the company's CEO, had made known in December 2019, Mate Xs will even reach Europe in March with a price of 2,499 euros.
But not even a premium smartphone lives a manufacturer and Huawei announced the arrival of more affordable news. The Huawei Enjoy 10e was announced by the company at a press conference in China and will be officially launched on the Chinese market on March 1, advances a publication by the manufacturer on the social network Weibo. For now, there are no arrival dates for Huawei Enjoy 10e planned for other territories in the world.
Apparently, the new smartphone stands out for its long battery life. Huawei has yet to reveal more details about Enjoy 10e in addition to a mysterious image.
Although very little is known about the Huawei Enjoy 10e, some rumors are circulating online. Still this month, documents published about a smartphone with a 6.3-inch screen and a 5,000 mAh battery appeared on the TENAA website, the Chinese telecommunications authority.
The rumors also account for a device that appeared in the smartphone benchmark tool Geekbench. With the name Huawei MED-AL00, the smartphone features a MediaTek P35 processor and 4 GB of RAM.
