Porsche inaugurated what is Europe's largest electric vehicle charging park. The infrastructure is located in Germany, in Leipzig, and has 12 350kW charging stations and four 22kW charging stations for small supplies. Note that all energy comes from renewable sources.
The park is also equipped with a visitor center, a museum and a shop.
The park is part of the investment that Porsche is making in the electrical market. The company recently launched its first model of its kind and although it is not yet considered one of the major brands in the sector, initiatives of this nature demonstrate what the manufacturer's intentions are in relation to it.
From a competitive point of view, where larger brands appear, such as the Tesla case, this "land dispute" can only be seen as beneficial for electric vehicle drivers, who can thus enjoy an increasingly dense network of chargers.
