After many tests, the newest version of the fourth and fifth generation Apple TVs operating system (aka Apple TV 4K) is now available to the general public, days after the early release of iOS 11.2. I speak, of course, of tvOS 11.2 (compilation 15K106).
His only relevant novelty, in particular, is the possibility of configuring the device so that the reproduction corresponds to that native to the content being displayed, both in terms of frequency and in HDR mode.
The new version promises, of course, an improved experience (faster and more stable) in set-top boxes. So, if you already installed it and you like it or not, please share your opinion here in the comments! ?
Oh, and a related note for developers: just now, too, the Xcode 9.2 (build 9C40b) already updated with all iOS 11.2, watchOS 4.2, tvOS 11.2 and macOS High Sierra 10.13.2 SDKs.
Version 11.3.1 (7.8 GB) Requires macOS 10.14.4 or superior
