You may not be the most organized person in the world, but you certainly use at least one calendar in some way, be it paper or virtual ones. The good news is that, just as there are many different options for paper calendars, there are also a myriad of applications for this purpose.
To form a family with your email app, Newton Mail, now the developers of CloudMagic are launching a differentiated calendar option: Newton Calendar.
With an appearance that is certainly different from what we have seen so far in relation to calendar solutions, the app has a very simple design, easy to use and that will probably please a lot those who enjoy a more "dark" environment, since its interface has the night tones.
The only way to view your events by what they called "Schedule View", in which you see the date and, below, only the events already created in the form of cards. To view the details of the event, just touch the card you want and you will have the options in a very simple way, such as guest contacts, location, alarm and repetition; at the top of the card, you can change the calendar itself (home, work, college, etc.).
To add a new event, touch the + symbol at the top of the app or simply touch the specific date you want for a card to appear with the default time; then, you have, very easily, all the calendar options you use. If you want to view your whole month, don't worry, this is possible too; just tap on the month title to see your monthly calendar.
The app currently only supports Gmail, Google Apps and Exchange (EWS) calendars.
If you have used or use Newton Mail, already registered in the company's system, then you will have no problems when entering Newton Calendar. However, if you do not have a Newton account, for some abstract reason, you will not be able to register for Calendar, you will need to bookmark the email app and register there. ?
For now, Newton Calendar is available for free only on the App Store, but the company said there are already plans to bring it to Android and macOS, too.
