This is not the first map developed to track the growth in the number of infections and deaths due to Coronavirus, but perhaps one of the most complete, using information from the World Health Organization and disease control centers in the United States, China and Europe.
The dashboard built by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering has an automatic update tool for confirmed, suspected cases and those who have recovered from the disease, as well as those who have already died from infection.
Visually impressive to see the spread of Covid-19, which originated in the province of Wuhan, China, but is spreading rapidly, giving rise to unprecedented protection systems in several countries. Italy is the third country with the most confirmed cases, after China, where the majority of those infected are, and South Korea.
The latest figures show that the Coronavirus has killed more than 2,000 people and infected more than 75,000 people, with confirmed cases on all continents. In Portugal, no case of infection has yet been confirmed.
