LG V60 ThinQ is released with Snapdragon 865, 64MP camera and 5,000 mAh battery

LG has finally announced its newest flagship smartphone: the V60 ThinQ. This device delivers some interesting features, like the best chipset from Qualcomm at the moment, ensuring cutting-edge performance, triple cameras and high capacity battery.

The V60 ThinQ has a 6.8 "OLED screen with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels, aspect 20.5: 9 and glass with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Inside, we have the Snapdragon 865 processor with X55 5G modem, allowing the device connects to 5G sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G networks, there is 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can happily be expanded via microSD.

In the camera department, there are three sensors horizontally aligned at the rear, the main 64MP with optical image stabilization, the 13MP wide-angle secondary with 117 degree field of view, and the third ToF 3D. The small drop-shaped notch houses a 10MP camera. As we saw in the Galaxy S20 line, the V60 ThinQ can also record videos in 8K.

To keep the device turned on, LG inserted a 5,000 mAh battery with support for "Quick Charge 4+" fast charging as well as wireless charging. In software, the LG UX 9.0 interface based on Android 10 is factory installed. As a security feature, we have a biometric reader under the screen.

Other features of the V60 ThinQ include: stereo speakers, four microphones, 32-bit Quad DAC, WiFi 6 support, dedicated Google Assistant button, 3.5mm headphone jack and IP68 and MIL-STD 810G certification .

LG has also improved the "Dual Screen" accessory, which now has a 6.8 "OLED screen with Full HD + resolution and hinge Freestop 360, which makes it possible to use the device in different ways, such as in the notebook or tent mode, for example. This accessory also delivers a small 2.1 "secondary display, which displays notifications and supports the" Always-On "feature.

Price and availability

Unfortunately, the South Korean manufacturer has yet to reveal the price of its new smartphone high-end, nor the markets in which it will be available. However, this information is expected to be released soon. Those interested in the V60 ThinQ can purchase it in two color options: Classy Blue and Classy White.
