Tim Cook visits Foxconn.
Foxconn, the Taiwanese that assembles Apple products, has denied reports that a factory in China was hurt by a strike, saying on Saturday its production is on schedule at an important time for Apple.
?All reports that there was an employee strike are inaccurate. There was no work stoppage at this plant or at any other Foxconn facility, and production continues on schedule. ?
On Friday we talked about the strike. Even though Foxconn denied it, officials at a Chinese agency said that about 100 quality inspectors refused to work on October 5 after one of them was beaten by workers disgusted by the inspection requirements. (Reuters)
