After a frenetic pace of updates between the end of October and the beginning of December, Apple has now given a gap of almost a month between the release of the penultimate update from iOS to today, which takes it to the version 11.2.2 (compilation 15C202).
The release note is very simple and only states that iOS 11.2.2 ?offers a security update and is recommended for all users?. If I had to guess, I would say it had to do with vulnerabilities Meltdown and Specter.
