Samsung recently started selling the Galaxy Z Flip in the United States. In a short time, the new folding of the company managed to register a considerable success in that country. Now, this device has also proved to be popular in India, the second largest market in the world.
According to Samsung, pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Flip sold out in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, the South Korean did not reveal how many units were available for purchase. Anyway, this is an impressive feat, especially if we take into account the price of this foldable in India: US $ 1,530 (R $ 6,716).
Thank you for the overwhelming response to #GalaxyZFlip. Pre-bookings are now on hold and will re-open soon. Get Notified. https://t.co/pxYUxITRx2#Samsung pic.twitter/qTVj5Ynk2v

Those who pre-ordered will start receiving the Galaxy Z Flip on February 26th. Information indicates that a second batch will be made available on February 28, but this has not yet been confirmed by the company.
Considering that the Galaxy Z Flip is becoming popular around the world, despite its higher than usual price, it is quite likely that Samsung will need to increase the production capacity of the device as it is available in other markets.
Galaxy Z Flip specs:
When opened, the South Korean giant's new foldable has a Dynamic display AMOLED 6.7 "with a resolution of 2636 x 1080 pixels, aspect ratio 22: 9 and glass with Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The small secondary display features 1.1", being responsible for displaying notifications and times.
Inside, we have the Snapdragon 855+ processor, combined with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. In the camera department, there are two 12MP sensors at the rear, the secondary one being wide angle with a 123 degree field of view. The small "hole" on the screen houses a 10MP camera.
To keep the Galaxy Z Flip on, Samsung inserted a 3,300 mAh battery with 15W charging. In software, the OneUI 2.0 interface based on Android 10 is factory installed.
