Tim Cook and the entire team of Apple executives have made it very clear that they bet a lot of chips on augmented reality, especially after they launched the ARKit.

One of the improvements to come in version 1.5 of ARKit is the mapping of complete surfaces and areas, which will enable a much more comprehensive and detailed work to be used by the developers. See examples below:

News coming to life in your living room
What is the limit of augmented reality? I never dare to take a chance on this type of question, since human intelligence and creativity, for me, are inexhaustible and constantly evolving.

Apple at Game Developers Conference
