Information points out that the OnePlus 8 Pro should reach the market with support for wireless charging, technology that has been widely requested by fans for a long time. Now, it looks like the next top-of-the-line smartphone from the Chinese brand could deliver another interesting feature: IP68 certification.
O leaker Max J., known for accurate leaks, used his Twitter account to post an image of a suspected OnePlus device with the word "water" highlighted, suggesting that we will see this certification in the new generation model. Unfortunately, we still don't know if the IP68 will be exclusive to the Pro version or if it will also be available in the common model.

In some announcements, OnePlus said it did not deliver IP certification because that would increase the final cost of smartphones. However, the company revealed that its devices are still water resistant to some extent.
Anyway, it would be interesting to see the next major launch of the company reach the market with an official certification, something that has been shipped by other competitors.
