Every Thursday Apple chooses a Movie of the week at the iTunes Store, whose purchase (even in 4K / HDR, depending on the production) R $ 9.90. The title selected this time was "Alien vs. Predator ?, by director Paul W. S. Anderson.
Check out his trailer:
Here's what Apple says about the movie:
Two of the most violent creatures in science fiction meet in theaters for the first time, making fans happy. In ?Alien vs. Predator ?, a group of scientists discovers a pyramid below the surface of Antarctica, and it doesn't take long for them to realize that the site is a battlefield between predators and aliens in search of the breed's superiority. Director Paul W. S. Anderson ("Resident Evil") swaps horror for the wild and creates a fun movie full of special effects. Highlight for the presence of Lance Henriksen, the Bishop of the saga "Alien".
As usual, our reader Renato Alan Promenzio (@tripalavra), who is a cardholder, also sent us a personalized comment about the film:
I have with me that, if it is not the first or the second film about the Predator, there is not much to comment on and I say the same about the films in the "Alien" franchise. But let's try to put that aside for a few seconds and assess how Paul W. S. Anderson tried to make the two biggest franchises fun. Look: fun, nothing more. We have a simple script, a limited cast and a conduit in the video game adaptation format with which the director was successful in the series "Resident Evil". It is obvious that, as this week The Predator is being released in theaters (which has nothing to do with this film), Apple wasted no time and put it as Movie of the week here to water your senses.
