After announcing the Mi 10 line last week, Xiaomi decided to make a new Bluetooth speaker official: the Mi Outdoor, which arrives on the market with a minimalist design and battery that promises to deliver great autonomy in daily use.
Mi Outdoor has a plastic construction and fabric finish on the outside, being very similar to the material found in smart speakers like Amazon Echo and Google Home Mini. It is also very compact, and for users to be able to carry it, Xiaomi has inserted a small wing.
The company also claims that there is an internal 5W speaker, which should deliver quality sound in very large environments, and support for Bluetooth 5.0. The speaker also supports Google Assistant and other options thanks to your microphone, in addition to being able to make and receive voice calls. An auxiliary output and microUSB port are other features.
Given that we are talking about a device for external use, the new speaker from Xiaomi comes with IPX5 certification, making it possible to use it by the pool without fear of causing any type of problem.
To keep the Mi Outdoor connected, we have a battery of 2,000 mAh, which according to the Chinese manufacturer, can offer a range of up to 20 hours of continuous use. In addition, there are only breeding buttons, which were placed on the side.
So far, the new speaker is only sold in India. For now, its price of 1,399 rupees, something around R $ 84. Unfortunately, we still don't know if Xiaomi intends to sell it in other markets.
