Microsoft announced the launch of its new music platform that will compete directly with Google Play, iTunes, Spotify and RDIO. Xbox Music will initially be released for the Xbox 360 and come pre-installed on Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices.
However, the company has already sought to advance that Xbox Music has official applications for Android and iOS. "Xbox Music on Android and iOS look similar to Xbox Music on Windows Phone 8, following the style previously known as Metro," said Jerry Johnson, general manager of Xbox Music.
In Brazil, Xbox Music starts to work from today (16/10) on Xbox 360. To have unlimited and offline access to content, such as music, video clips (without advertising), consumers can purchase the Xbox Music Pass, which costs 15 monthly reais.
