According to images released by the Brief Mobile website, the Nexus 10, a tablet inspired by Google and manufactured by Samsung, is expected to be announced soon. The press event – which was scheduled for this Monday (10/29) in New York – was canceled due to Hurricane Sandy.
The website describes the Nexus 10 as ?the tablet with the best specifications in the Android world? and claims that it has a Samsung Exynos 5250 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 10.1 inch Super AMOLED screen, resolution of 2,560 × 1,600 pixels, rear camera with 5 megapixels and LED, front camera, NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean preloaded.
In parallel to the possible leak, recent photos that were posted by Vic Gundotra, senior vice president of engineering at Google, would have been taken via the tablet. However, the images show a lower resolution, just 2,048 × 1,536 – probably changed automatically by Google+.
A few days ago, an alleged Nexus 10 manual would also have leaked and appears to confirm the design of the tablet. However, with the information that the Sony Nexus X was an elaborate hoax, this device could also be just a big joke with the specialized media. See the gallery for more details:
