Aimed at the corporate market, the leaked information indicates that the new app will be incorporated into G Sute.

According to information obtained by The Information channel, the Google is developing a new messaging application for companies that will unify all services to the company until then. The objective would be to compete with popular apps in the corporate environment, such as Slack, for example.

The sources claim that the idea of ??this future application having, in one place, the Gmail, Hangouts, Google Drive and video conferences. Passing internal tests in the company, the app must be incorporated into the G Suite, Google?s suite of apps for business. The CEO of the company's cloud division, Thomas Kurian, discussed this new application during a conference held in mid-January.

It is not yet known how this application will impact existing applications, and there is no information about a web application.

Google's communication services

Hangouts is one of Google's most popular communication apps

The company always works on new ways to connect people in a more efficient and practical way. Hangouts, for example, was launched on May 15, 2013 to replace three existing products: Google Talk, Google+ Messenger and Hangouts.

J o Duo was launched in 2016 and is an application for mobile devices made for video calls. In 2019, it received support for the web version, making it possible to make calls to contacts through the browser.

Gmail, launched in 2004, revolutionized the webmail system by providing, at the beginning, 1GB of storage space. For comparison, platforms at the time like Yahoo! Mail and Hotmail offered 6MB and 2MB, respectively. In the following year, they created the program ?Infinito +?, increasing the storage space, where it increased about 4 bytes per second.

There is also the Groups, which as the name suggests, connects people who have a common interest in a single place and the Google Voice, which is a telecommunications service that uses the prepaid billing system.

However, not all of the company's applications have been successful. In 2016 the company announced the Google Allo, which aimed to compete with messaging apps like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, but was discontinued in 2019 for failing to ?score?.

There was also the Inbox By Gmail focused on improving the productivity and organization of e-mails, such as grouping similar e-mails, receiving Google Now cards, snoozing messages etc. However, this was discontinued in 2019 and its functions were incorporated into Gmail.
