A survey conducted by Forrester shows that Apple will continue to have a presence in the corporate market for the next two years. For companies and government agencies only, the Cupertino giant is expected to sell $ 18 billion in iPads and Macs in 2013.
The Macs alone are expected to represent $ 7 billion in corporate sales this year, a 23% increase compared to the previous year. Up ahead, iPads will account for $ 11 billion in sales for the segment, up 19%, according to forecasts.
Despite the growing demand for Ma's products, corporate spending on tablets and computers running Windows is expected to remain stable during this year, as many of them will be replaced by mobile devices running iOS or Android.
For 2014, the forecast is that $ 13 billion will be sold on iPads and $ 8 billion on Macs. That year, PC sales should start to grow, according to Forrester, since Windows 8 is already more widespread in the market.
