According to a report by Analysys, Google's mobile platform, Android, reached a historic mark of 83% market share in China. Second, according to the study, are Symbian and iOS with only 6% share.
Analysys explains that the crazy growth of Android started over the past year, when the Google platform started to absorb Symbian users. Just a year ago, the little green robot owned 47% of the market while Nokia remained at 32.3%.
China is currently the largest and fastest smartphone market in the world. Analysts believe the country should reach 200 million mobile users by the end of 2012.
